- All I need is your debtors ledger, a phone, and access to your customer info, invoices and any delivery notes or other relevant documentation.

 - I contact all your customers with due and overdue invoices.

- they hear a polite request for monies due or overdue, and I also ask them to check they've received the current invoices.

- I find out when their next payment run is, whether you are on it, and how much they are paying. If not then why not, if less than you expected why, and what can we do next time to make sure we are on the payment run and paid in full.

- If they need a copy invoice I send it. Any other queries that are holding up payment I will sort out or pass to the appropriate person if any action is needed.

- If they give an excuse for non or late payments then I know all the responses.  They soon realise that excuses don't work.

- quite quickly your customer gets used to a friendly call from me.  Late paying customers soon realise that you now have someone dedicated to getting their money in, who won't take excuses for overdue invoices.  Good payers are happy to take the call as I make a change from people who ring up shouting for money.  Which all helps you to be further up your customers list when they are prioritising their payments.
